MODEL 295
SA
The OPW 295 SA Overwing Aircraft nozzle has been in world-wide service for many years. Improved and refined over the years, OPW 295 SA features a high flow rate, light level pull and smooth shut-off. Lightweight - it is nearly half the weight of similar nozzles. The heavy duty replaceable lever guard is easy to grip and easy to maneuver when attached to a heavy hose. The built-in swivel assists in the ease of handling and insertion in wing tanks.
NOTE The OPW 295 SA nozzle does not have an optional spout wing protector ring. Care should be used in inserting this nozzle into overwing aircraft.

Built-in swivel - eliminates twisting and kinking of the hose. This swivel is hard coated aluminium and has full bearing surfaces. Ground wire provided must be used with this nozzle.
Dust Cap - keeps spout free from dirt and stops fuel drippage.
NPT female threats at inlet end - standard pipe threads all 1¼" or 1½" male connections.

This OPW 295 SAJ heavy duty, high flow nozzle with special spout has been designed specifically to help prevent the inadvertent fueling of piston engine aircraft with turbine fuel. The special spout is manufactured by OPW to specifications set forth by the special committee on aircraft fueling safety. This committee, convened by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) is comprised of representatives of airframe manufacturers, operators, trade associations, insurance companies, safety organisations and the government. The OPW 295 SAJ has a built-in 1½" hose swivel for easier fueling.

The OPW 295 AF nozzle is a military version of the OPW 295 series nozzle. It is designed to meet the special requirements of the United States Air Force for use on mobile refueling equipment. Service requirements range from the world`s largest aircraft to relatively small, high performance fighters. The spout ring is designed to help prevent damage to the bottom inside fuel bays on these thin wing aircraft, as well as protect the critically smooth top surface.
The OPW 295 AF nozzle is finished in anodized olive drab finish and is furnished complete with Mil Spec ground wire with stainless steel plug at end.
