Anton Paar DMA 35n EX Petrol – Portable Density Meter

• The DMA 35n is a portable density meter that measures the density of liquids in g/cm³
or kg/m³ according to the U-tube principle

• Complies with the IP 559 test procedure (Determination of density of middle distillate fuels: Hand-held oscillating U-tube density meter method)

• API tables for product groups A, B & D (Crude Oil,Fuels and Lubricants) are built in, so that
density values referred to reference temperature (15°C or 60° F) are displayed

• Robust and lightweight. IP54 rated, can be used anywhere

• ATEX approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres

• Instrument is easy to use. Supplied with video manual on CD-Rom

• Samples are filled into the measuring cell using the built-in pipette style pump or a syringe.
Results displayed within seconds

• Only a small sample volume is required, approximately 2ml

• A temperature sensor measures the sample temperature right at the measuring cell.
The temperature is displayed and can be used for automatic temperature compensation
of the density reading

• Battery operated (2 x LR03 alkaline batteries)

• 1024 measuring results can be stored internally. These can be recalled individually or
transferred to PC or Printer via an optional Infrared interface port
